Services: I make herbal teas, balms, and body care products, and offer hands-on herbalism workshops and kits. I love to share the pleasure and empowerment that comes with making and using natural herbal concoctions. In my products, I create in small batches, with the intention to nourish body and soul, and delight the senses. I use herbs that I grow, wildcraft, or source organic. In my workshops, I aim to share information that you can use in your life right away. To inspire confidence and joy in your herbal journey. In my life and work, I hope to contribute to biodiversity, resilience, and happy, healthy people and planet. Upcoming workshop! May 9th in Cochrane, a collaboration with Kelly Beaton. With the renewal and rebirth of Spring, this is an optimal time to refresh our souls and nurture our essential natures. We will share tea, clear out the muddy thoughts from our minds, integrate mindfulness and storytelling to bring us home to ourselves, and be introduced to herbs and remedies for cleansing and replenishing our bodies. This is the season to sweep away the cobwebs and create space for what is needed. Lighten the load by honouring the seasons and cycles. You will leave with recipes and tips to build your relationship with the herbs introduced, along with mindfulness practices and journaling prompts to ground you. Take what resonates and integrate it into your home practice. The night may end but the connections are yours to keep.

Services: YYC Growers participates in the food system in game-changing ways to impact the health of consumers, as well as the health of the earth and her soil. The YYC cooperative prides itself in being not just sustainable but even more importantly, regenerative. Regenerative farming is a dynamic state-of-being. A regenerative farmer is guided by this question, “Is my soil better this season than last?” The key impacts of asking this question are that the soil’s produce is more nutritious and flavourful, and Mother Earth gets taken care of. A VITAL ECOSYSTEM. The agro-ecological position taken by the cooperative means that land is valued as the foundation to a vital ecosystem, the land has a voice at the table. Farmers become stewards and builders of this ecosystem, helping to create conditions to grow good food. Healthy soil is pest- and weed-resistant soil. REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE. Our member farmers practice regenerative agriculture: “farming and grazing practices that, among other benefits, reverse climate change by rebuilding soil organic matter and restoring degraded soil biodiversity–resulting in both carbon drawdown and improving the water cycle.” SEASONAL GOODNESS. Our weekly harvest box carries seasonal produce and food products. The summer allows for a bounty of farm-fresh, delicious produce; through the winter, you’ll receive stored root crops, microgreens, greenhouse vegetables and food products such as preserves, honey or coffee. Alternatively, you can order from our webstore anytime, too!
